Up lighting, that's the one! ;)

For the timetables I was considering either LED TV screens or Liverpool Street Station style screens.
I googled tie bars and didn't find what I think you were referring to ;)

Ideas will come once I've imagined them, the way I tend to work is I get 1 design in my head, develop it in my head, draw it, and then develop it further changing details of it.

Sorry to reply to the wrong post but I just wanted to say sometihng on vandalism.

The bust station where I live was built two years ago and it looks really good. There is glass everywhere. Yet no grafiti.. or any of them smashed. Why? Because it looks TOO nice. If somewhere looks good then people won't ruin it... Even round here.

Update time for those of you still interested.
College is now done and dusted, final grade of D*D*D* and 420 UCAS points, 100 more than I needed to get into University.

All my projects in the second year were completed to Distinction grade, the only thing that was left was my iPad. I am extremely proud of the finished product. Overall it has taken me 9 months of on and off work and well over 40 hours and nearly £100 of materials costs.

It's currently being used as a display at my college, and I'm hoping to get it back some time in the new year as my family want to see what I've poured my blood, sweat and tears into for such a long time.

    Here it is.

Thank you, that controller was made by a student in the year above me for the same project, the buttons are all press able.

Don't give apple any ideas knowing them this will be next years model (now my hero SJ is no longer with us)

On a serious note it does look good and I see a business opportunity here, I'd have one of them and other examples for an artistic piece.

Coffee table was the idea, or to have a mount made and have it on a wall somewhere. Pics above show preparations for the screen.

It would make for a cool looking coffee table indeed:) I guess the hard part is keeping the look sleek, the leg design is just as important, I'd go transparent Z shape or incorporate a larger scale actual ipad accessory.

Or gorilla glass and have a feature floor, I have some crazy ideas lol.

Got a few pictures from current and past projects since beginning Uni for any of you interested. I need to get ready now as I'm off out, so will give a description of each project either later or tomorrow.

I'm currently working on a 1:100 scale Axonometric of mine and the neighbouring apartment which I'll upload when it's done.
